I was saddened today to hear of the passing of Ken Boak (Monsonite) a few days ago. https://retrocomputingforum.com/t/rip-ken-boak-aka-monsonite/5536
I have known Ken for many years, going back to the time I bought my first Nanode. He was an early RC2014 adopter, and his 2017 post (sadly gone now) about building his RC2014 Classic in under 60 minutes was picked up my Hacker News and was certainly responsible for spreading the news about the RC2014.
He was an active member of this group in the early days, and went on to have a lot of involvement with the Gigatron and the Minimalist Computer group.
Those of you in the UK would certainly remember Ken from the Retro Computer Festival in Cambridge, EMF Camp, OSHCamp and many other events.
RIP Ken. I'll raise a pint in your name this evening.
