Accessing a telnet BBS

Has anybody got any experience with connecting CP/M machines to telnet BBS systems? My RC2014 has a second serial port and I want to try to get it online and talking to a BBS. What software would I need?

I saw LazyGameReviews making a video on the Wifi232 - http://biosrhythm.com/?page_id=1453. It mimics a hayes modem so should be a lot of fun when wired up, guessing any software would do... MikroKom was one I saw listed, but lacking the hardware to test atm.
