rc2014 emulator

Evening All,

I have installed the EtchedPixels has developed a RC2014 emulator on my debian laptop and all works well except I can not paste a hex file into it as I do on the real thing.

I have tried various terminals including kitty, Gnome terminal and xfce terminal all with the same result.

I have also tried cat helloworld.hex > /dev/pts/0 which sends it across but only seems to send it to the terminal window, not load it into the scm.

Am I missing something silly here?

No that I can think of - what behaviour do you actually see ?

One problem I know of is that the paste occurs at a higher speed than the serial port can actually really achieve and that can cause overruns. I've never implemented a serial input rate emulation, perhaps I should ?
