Good morning,
It's been five years now since I started building peripherals specifically for the RC2014 and compatible systems, having being introduced to the system and having ideas suggested to me by some wonderful people, who I've since met at some shows around the UK - hello!
So five years ago, back in the distant times of June/July 2020 the first peripherals I released were a SID Sound Chip Interface to use the legendary Commodore 64 soundchip with the RC2014 (Based on my earlier interface from a couple decades earlier for the SAM Coupe) plus incorporating a 50/60/100Hz Interrupt generator which is also useful for other chiptune timing applications. Secondly, a Graphics OLED module to give a very easy to use 128x32 pixel display.
I'm currently offering a fiver off of each of these interfaces. For more information, purchasing, photos & videos and community links please see my updated website at:
https://2014.samcoupe.comSince those initial released, I've produced a few more RC related interfaces: ZX True Tone (ZXTT) - an exact clock module for Ed Brindley's YM/AY soundcard so it's pitch perfect for ZX Spectrum AY music. There's also my latest release - a SAA1099P soundcard, to use the Philip soundchip made popular by the SAM Coupe (the system I've been devoted to for the last 32 years), and lastly a selection of Bus Adapter Interfaces to allow RC peripherals to connect to the ZX Spectrum and SAM Coupe. Again, all the info is in my site.
All the best,
Colin
