In order to fully test my "sort by timestamp" mods to ZXD I need to "adjust" the timestamp on a file to be pre-2000.

I've found DU90 which says in is CP/M 3 compatible and which looks like it can do what I need, but the "find file" feature doesn't seem to work correctly.

If I type "ffred.txt" it correctly finds the directory entry for fred.txt and prints it out, but it doesn't print the correct track/sector info and always prints T=2 S=1 after a find command.

Is this a known problem ?   Is there a fix ?
Or is there an alternative disk sector editor util I could use ?

Thanks,
PeterO

A couple of alternatives that I've used:

1. Change your system date and create a file.
2. See if ZSVSTAMP is compatible with CP/M3.

Name Vers S ZSUS Siz Rec CRC Library/Size Issued Author
----
ZSVSTAMP.COM 0.10 0 0 2 14 4FC4 ZDOS11 0 01/01/88 Howard Goldstein
*DATE Saves create date/time stamp of a given file in memory so that it
HLP=Y can be restored later to a file. Distributed with ZDOS vs 1.1.
CFG=N

Wayne,
I don't like the idea of messing with the clock, but I guess on CP/M not much can go wrong....
ZSVSTAMP just prints "Not ZSDOS" :-(
Thanks anyway.
