Hi All,

I hope this is not an in-appropriate request - is anyone aware of a
retro-computer group in the north east of UK?

Do you mean Aberdeen or Newcastle ? :) big difference!

I live in North East UK - Moray.

To answer your question, I am not aware of one here.

Richard

I’d be interested in a NE England group, Leeds/York area for me, but I’ve not heard of one. I raised a similar topic in a FacePoke group a year ago…

ABUG (Acorn BBC User Group) has regular meetings alternating between "down south"
and Halifax/Manchester/Runcorn, and recently Falkirk. While mainly BBC/6502/ARM
there are people like me who also do Z80 stuff, I'm intending to show off my latest CCP,
BBCBASIC and ANSI driver updates if I can get to the Farnborough meetup in September.

I'd eventually be interested in something in the Newcastle area, but I won't be moving "home" till mid to late next year. After more than 30 years in the 'States, which one is home!

Hi
I'm also based in the Newcastle area so meeting other NE based retro computer fans would be great. I don't know of a specific NE retro group there is the local Newcastle Makerspace (which I'm a member) and there are a few people there who are into retro computers.
