Hello,
I have just seen a project on Hackaday for an eZ80 card for the RC2014. Has this ever gone into production?

Hi mate,

There has been a few ez80.  If you are referring to my project for the rc2014/rcbus system.  Then yep I have a kit available

More information on my site.  https://www.dinoboards.com.au/ez80-for-rc.html

There is a buy link for a kit there

Currently on holiday this week.  Back online next week

Hi Dean,
That looks very interesting, will probably give you an order next week unless any other options appear

Hi Dean,

I didn't realise you did a eZ80 for the RC bus - How cool/  I brought one of what I think I need to make a decent stand alone system - No screaming rush to complete it - enjoy your holiday :-)  .  I would like to learn a heap about it before I figure out how to shoehorn an eZ80  onto a STD bus card in a meaningful manner :-)

Kindest regards,

Doug Jackson

I've done a couple of standalone encased eZ80 projects.  I've also done a standalone RCBus card in the 1.1" form factor that can serve dual purpose as a standalone system.  I'm awaiting some feedback on it's compatibility with other RCBus cards.

There's more information on my eZ80 projects at tindie.com/stores/circlem/

I've been having a good time with Dean's eZ80 board so far! Build's been pretty smooth, though I really suggest you heed the build notes' advice about wedding the CPU carrier's pins with the female receptacles before soldering either to their respective board. Aligning all the pins after you've soldered the female receptacles to the main board is doable, but really not the easiest way to do it.

So far, my stack's comprised of a CPU board, a SC729, and a  SC721. I'm hoping to add the linear SRAM, FPGA video, and USB host before my stack's set to go up on exhibit alongside a grab bag of other RomWBW systems at VCF Midwest in september.

Thanks Mx Argent - glad to hear it working well for you.

I have so many plans for software support for module.  The main thing I want to get back to - is a port CP/M to the onboard firmware - so we can get maximum performance .....  I plan to do that ... one day... soon....

Good luck at VCF.
