Good morning everyone & thanks to Bruce for opening up this way of
communicating with him.

I am using one of the Turnigy 9x transmitters with the FlySky 2.4 GHz
module.

It worked initially but has now stopped. I traced the problem to a
dead connection between the PPM pin on the header that connects to the
Tx, and the PPM_IN pin that connects the two little PCBs to one
another. Resoldering failed to fix this, so I soldered in a fly lead
between the two pins (this had already been done on another connection
-- presumably an in-factory repair (yikes).

Anyway, the module now works (sort of) but with a massive amount of
glitching/noise.

My initial thought was that the voltage from the header is too high
but I can't see any kind of voltage divider in the signal path that I
would have missed and there is nothing in the FCC schematics.

So, long story short, could someone (Bruce?) please measure the
resistance between the header pin that connects to the Tx and the
PPM_IN pin? On the flip side of the PCB this looks like a direct
connection.

I'm reluctant to order another FlySky module since they seem replete
with problems... would rather just get this one working.

Thanks all.
