Hi Bruce I would like to ask have you any news on the back
compatability of the two way Frsky modules with the older(!) standard
receivers? At the moment we can get the module in the UK but not the
receivers.

Hi Mark,

As of my last chat with FrSky they are not 100% compatible. They are
trying hard but as of yet they are not willing to put the stamp on it
saying they are compatible.

Hi Mark,

Just a little e-mail I received from FrSky. Excuse the chinglish.

"Meantime, we would like notice that we are doing two important things
for coming two way system. First thing is that we are doing some job to
make our new system could compatible with the last generation receivers
of V8 series. The second thing is that we are doing the fireware
updata. We believe both of these two things are very important."

Looks like they are listening to everyone's feedback about backwards
compatibility and upgrade paths.

Regards,

Rob.

Just thought I would update you that don't follow the various threads.
It seems FrSky have learned from others mistakes and will be delaying
the 2-way launch to ensure that it is backwards compatible with the
existing receivers.
