Hi Bruce,
have been trying to connect to you site from within a huge hospital's
wireless network. Everything works fine except rcmodelreviews.com
IT infrastructure here is pretty modern and fast.
Rcmodelreviews.com brings up the Apache page. IP resolved correctl.
On first glance this looks like an Apache setup issue, possible
related the http header recognition if you are on shared hosting.

Michael

Michael,

Maybe you should post 'the apache page' you get? It is kinda vague,
and exactness works a lot better when you try to debug things. So
while you are at it, post the exact request (including headers) that
you are throwing at what URL.
There are too many reports of the site not being available to dismiss
these problems as mere user error or PEBKAS. But it works for me
without a problem, so I cannot be of any help, I think. I suspect it
is some overzealous protection scheme blocking or mangling requests
from known troublemaking ip-blocks, but it is up to the hosting
provider to handle that, I think.

Hi Jelle? (no signature),

Sorry, I'm not in the hospital any more.
Apache page was the default landing page included in Apache and normally
visible right after installing Apache and before configuring a site (...
welcome to Apache... you should setup a website .. blah, blah).

Hope this is of some help, I'll send more info once I can connect to an
outside LAN again. Here, at my home, rcmodelreviews.com works fine.

Best regards,

Michael Kaz
