Dear Men in Christ,
Please pray for Judie Boyle's (Judie is the Baltimore Section Women's assistant) daughter Caitlyn and her husband, who has been serving in Afghanistan. They just received word he's been shot. Apparently he is stable and will be flown to Germany to recover after surgery. They were just wed last July and Caitlyn is 30 weeks pregnant and can't travel to be with him. You can imagine the stress the family is under. Please pray!
Beatification Celebration
There will be an anticipated Mass and cocktail party at 7:00 pm Saturday evening in celebration of John Paul II's beatification. It will be anticipated --Sunday-- Mass and afterwards there will be a simple ceremony dedicating some relics. There are a few personal memories Rebecca Tetti has of him written up in her CNA column this week. We can all share more stories over a nice glass of wine this weekend!
