Dear Sisters in Christ,
 

 
 
     Here is an update on the Emrich family (Shandra Emrich is sister to Gwen Grundman and was part of our section before the family moved West) we prayed for on the Renewal and Monthly retreats this weekend.
 

 
     Gwen writes:

 
Shandra was air lifted to a Denver hospital yesterday.  The baby was born by caesarean yesterday evening (on the feast of the baptism of Christ).  Cecilia was baptized by a priest .  She has 2 holes in her heart and several other physical problems.  I don't know how much she weighs.  She may live a few days.  If she survives longer she will have to have multiple surgeries.  Shandra and Andrew still have many difficult decisions to make.  I am praying that they will be at peace with whatever happens.
