Below my signature I'm going to paste in the latest news from Maryland Marriage Alliance. I'm sure at least a few of us from the section will want to pitch in to prevent the re-definition of marriage in our state.
I'll take advantage here, too, to remind you to keep praying for Marcel Maheu's dad (Maricarmen's father-in-law), who's fighting for his life in a hospital in Canada.

Dear Marriage Volunteers,
The petition drive will be officially launched very soon and we need your help to make sure that everything runs smoothly in the next two and a half months.
The MMA will need volunteers every Tuesday through Friday from 10:00am until 4:00pm who can commit to help us out with:
- set-up and organization of the verification room (Most needed March 15th & 16th)
- calling churches to ask them to participate in the petition drive
- scheduling training sessions at churches
- verifying and sorting petitions
- database entry
- answering petition inquiry calls
In order to verify and sort petitions, you must attend one of our training meetings on Tuesdays beginning March 20, 2012 at 10:00am and 1:00pm.
If you are available to help us out with any of these tasks, please email Julia: Ju...@marylandmarriagealliance.com and give her your name, email, phone number, availability (days and times), and the specific task(s) you are volunteering for.
