New bike day! Joe Appaloosa

Hiya folks

So stoked on my new ride. I got an Appaloosa so I could get a bit more aggressive vs the A Homer I had. 

I’ll get to get on it for a maiden voyage tomorrow. Riv as always did an awesome job. Can’t wait to bike pack on this baddie. 

Love the way it looks and it also feels very sprightly for. The quick few laps around the Riv HQ

That's a burly looking Appaloosa, nice! I can already tell you're going to have lots of adventure on that one.

The Appaloosa + Homer combo sounds great. Though, it sounds like you may not still have the Homer?

Please share a ride report or 'first impressions' when you've had a chance to ride it some more!

The Homer and kit of parts is waiting for a friend who might take it. If not it’ll be up for grabs.

Hi Joe,

no the lime olive. It's a gorgeous color-kinda acid green and then gold/yellow undertones. 
I saw a profile of someone on bikepacking.com who had it and always knew there was one in my future.

I could not agree more. Every time I think I have a definitive favorite, I see a different color and get wishy washy again.

I feel you. The general use green is a stunner as well. 

But I’ve been a fan of the lime olive fur a while. Riv make it so you can go wrong but keeps the desire game on point.
