(I've posted this on the i-BOB list too, so forgive me):
My favorite 22 bike related images for 2022. (Oops, as hard as I tried, 2 dozen was as close as I could get, so I cheated):
The hardest part was to keep it fairly strictly bike related and bike-trip related. Both of my Rivendells are a major part of the album, but a few others are in the mix.
What's yours?

Great idea for a thread, Paul - I'm looking forward to seeing all the photos!

Here's a snapshot of my 22 all in one image - you can click on the attachment for the full size version.
You can see that the Platypus was a great inspiration to ride and take photos as it is in fully half of them even though I've only been riding it since November.

Dave,
Thanks! What fun to see them all together as in a poster!  Enjoy that Platypus.

DavidP-  your area looks like really great riding. I'd been wondering where you were from your pics and suspeted the NE and I see now it Mass. I drove up to Connecticut for the first time two Octobers ago for the Nutmeg Nor'Easter and really fell for that area of the country. Can't wait to get back up north for more riding. Also, good job on the pic collage. Not sure how you did it.

J - Yeah,  I'm in Chelmsford (just south of Lowell). It's a pretty standard NE suburban area but one thing this part of MA does well is having lots of public "open space" land dotted throughout various towns. None of them are very large but you can string them together and make some great loops.

My 22 were all in Google photos so I made an album there and then took a screen shot (pretty similar to the landing page for Paul's flickr album).

I'd suggest checking out the Red Leaf Rambler just a litter few hours northwest of the Nor'Easter here in Western Mass. Last fall was the second year of the event, the routes are really great and rather challenging. Also, there's the D2RD.

Paul,

May I ask what you're using to attach lights to the side of your basket? I made a "fake short handlebar" from an old broomstick and a long bolt to get a light out in front of my fender, but it doesn't work with newer lights, and I like your "tiny fake handlebar attached to the side of the basket" better.

Thanks, and great pics, by the way!

Drew, thanks for the complement on the photos.
As to the basket light mount, I've had two of these for so many years, I cannot recall their origin. They were designed to mount to a frame or fork tube and I adapted them easily for the basket. They aren't as substantial as the current mounts made to attach at a frame fitting (like Paul & PDW, etc.). So, at first I wasn't sure if they would be trustworthy. They have proved to be fine and I'm sure I did not pay much at the time. Your search may prove to be more fruitful than mine.
I looked at the strap on the basket side and one says, "CRONOMETTI" the other, made to fit a different tube size, says, "ISSIMO," so your guess is as good as my own. It is very likely I got word of this from one of these forums.
Just out: PDW has a newly designed basket mount called the "Outpost Mount," made of metal (steel?) so a little on the heavy side but looks substantial enough to be able to survive the bike falling over without any damage to the light mount.
I'm headed out for an overnighter on Wednesday and hope to try it out:

Paul,

That PDW mount looks so good, I just ordered one! Thanks!

I'll try to remember to take pics and share with the group.

Drew,
Started my packing for my overnighter today and began with the new PDW Outpost Mount to check it out.
The O.D. on the mount is 32mm, larger than the Paul Gino, but the same as some other frame-mounted light gizmos.
When the package first came last week, I wondered why it was as wide as it is. My battery light was sitting canted away from the basket before (with the smaller plastic mount I had been using). Now, very comfy sitting away from the wire basket. Think I'll keep it, despite the weight.

That's a Cronometro mount that was originally designed to mount computers on aerobars.
