I'm planning on getting the 26" versions. I think it's the biggest I can run on my XO-2.

These measure a good deal under size. 40.3 mm on my Velocity Atlas Rims with tubes.

I want to know how easy they are to get on the rims...I assume they are tubeless ready?  Meaning harder to mount, no?

Mine measured 42.5~ on Mavic A719 right after mounting them. Very easy to mount and seat the bead (with inner tubes).

I got mine today! Will mount them later this week on Atlas rims.

I stuck somma these on my hunqapillar, but i'll probably remove them because they don't fill it out enough. of course they ride nice.

Agreed - these are rather silly on a Hunq - not least of all because they are measuring under spec.

Could someone please measure the aspect height of the tire ?  The easiest way I found is to look up your rim height from the mfr. and then with some calipers measure both the rim and tire as one, as if you were going to measure it between your thumb and index finger. Subtract that from the rim height.

Thank Yuh !

I mounted a pair of Snoqualmie Pass Extralights with Schwalbe SV-18 tubes on Alex Adventurer rims (17.5mm internal width), and they measured 40.49mm for the time being; we'll see how much they stretch after a few months of use.

Given a published rim height of 18mm, the aspect height of these tires as mounted is 38.65mm or thereabouts. They're tall boys, but they fit under SKS Longboard fenders on my LHT.

Mine went on without difficulty and without tools, although I did wear gloves while getting the last few inches of bead over the rim. They seated properly on the first try.

We'll see. Mine are measuring at 42.1mm wide, on Velocity Dyad 700c rims. On the same rims, my Soma C-lines are dead-on 38mm. I'm not complaining, just reporting.

Will these fit on a Quickbeam? I'm still using the stock rims (green, 2004). I put a set of the 38 Compass tires on this summer and love them but would like a bit more width if possible. I didn't see these when I got mine.

I think they would. I have Soma C-Lines on my QuickBeam, and they're fine, plenty clearance, a true 38mm. I had tried BG Rock-n-Roads, and they just barely fit, at 43mm. Given the Snoqualmies are showing as 42mm, you could fit them, but with almost no margin for rim wobble.
