Unfortunately, I've aged out of riding my Rivendell. I loved it and would like to see it go to an appreciative new owner, not just someone on ebay or Craigslist.
My Riv is an original custom frame from 2000. It was built by the frame builder and painter that at the time Grant said were the best. The detaild lugs are just beautiful.
I used it for group rides and never put a rack or bags on it but the front and rear dropouts do have eyelets to put one on.
I have all the original specs of Grant's design. It was built with a pubic bone height of 80.6 cm. I'm 5'7" and it should fit someone an inch or two taller or shorter.
I fitted it out with a Campy gruppo.

It's in excellent shape except for a scratch on the top tube, seen in one of the pics.

Will at Rivendell told me he thinks it's worth $1,700 but would be fair to settle at $1,500, so that's the asking price.

Photos attached. More pics and info available.

Thanks,
Norman

Really beautiful bike. I hope you find it a good home. So sorry you find you aren’t able to use it I’m 73” or I’d be tempted.

Not Norman, but the brakes are marked as Daytona, which didn't come with anything other than short reach. Furthermore, judging from where the brake pads are located on the brake arms, these brakes aren't fully maximized for tire clearance. I would ask Norman to confirm the largest tire he fitted into the frame, but I have similar Campagnolo brakes with similar pad "hit points" that I couldn't fit anything larger than 30mm under.

Thanks for the nice comments on the bike. It is a beauty and I hope to sell it to someone who appeciates a finely crafted Rivendell.
To answer a couple of questions, I'm located in N.H. It has Riv Roly-Poly(?) tires on it. I think they are 28mm.

If anyone wants to write off list, best email to reach me is nhmichaels at aol.com

Cheers,
Norman
