On the staff bikes page it shows Roman's Sam hillborne with a bottle holder attached to stem and handlebars

Can anyone identify it? It looks awesome

Thanks !

Looks like a Randi Jo Fab Bartender bag:

Revelate has something similar:

I have a couple of the Bartender bags that I bought from fellow list member Philip - they're great!

I've use the Revelate ones for bikepacking. Fantastic. They can take away a hand position, however, if you like to rest your hands close to the stem. That's the only downside I can think of.

I often attach these bags to the rack or basket so it doesn't get in the way of hand positions on the bars...

meade...who has about 6 different handle bar bags...

These style bags are pretty popular in the bespoke bicycle bag circuit right now. In addition to Randi Jo I'll plug a Texas maker, Ellum Bagworks: http://ellumbagworks.com/product/hitchhiker-stem-handlebar-bag/

I can't imagine selling a bartender bag. Have one on every bike. Great for wallet, keys and cellphone, and doubles for a spare water bottle

Randi Jo is the best! Her caps are the best made bike caps I own, we have her bartender and M.U.T. bags on all our bikes, and she made me custom saddle covers for my Gilles Berthoud saddles.

I've tried other bags, but our Randi Jo & Sackville bags are our most used favorites.

FWIW, this is less fashionable, but it's probably more versatile: Minoura's clamp-on/QR cage mount, which comes in 2 clamp widths to fit bar or frame tube. I use one for longer rides on my gofast which I, alas, requested with only dt cage mounts, and I have both clamp widths, and comes with a soft plastic gasket to protect the attachment point. (I also have a custom Banzer wedge with a bottle compartment, which I should probably put on the bike for our current hot weather.)

These don't compromise hand positions.

Randi-Jo bartender bag doesn't even compromise bell position.  It only takes up stem

Another thing to consider is they get in the way of your knees if you climb out of the saddle a lot. I climb like that and that's the reason I don't use bartenders, every single fricken time I get up out of the saddle my knee hits those things. I picked up one of those rock climbing chalk holders from a garage sale and tried it out. so luckily it wasn't an expensive experiment

Hey Nathaniel, if you ride with a basket, you can strap it to that, it keeps it a little more outta the way of your knees. -Mike
