Hey All!
Just slaving a away in the shop today wrenching in the heat of the muggy day in Kansas. Just thought I would share a couple pics of this Joe Starck Custom I currently have in the stand. Produced in September of 1998. John Bell paint! The color in wonderful, and besides a little wear here and there, it looks great for being two decades old.

Hey Keith--
Where are you in Kansas? We live in Manhattan and own two Rivendells--a Sam Hillborne and a Clem Jr. Other Riv riders live in Lawrence and in Johnson County.

Dave,
I live in Lawrence. I own and operate CycleFix mobile bike repair. We have two Rivs in our household(Hunqapillar and Cheviot). I think at some point I would like to try and organize a RBW meetup Kansas edition.

That color was called persimmon and it was a custom color by Joe Bell back then. My was built in the spring of 1998 by Joe Starck as well, standard road geometrywith a custom tube set. Icommuted to work on it just last week, 27 miles RT.
