Hey everyone!

Getting started here with an introductory post.

Here's a pic of my 2025 Atlantis under lightly falling snow before tucking it away for the season of road salt and snow.

Season 1 was awesome. Looking forward many more!

Looking good. I have spent more time in Ottawa than almost anywhere else. I look forward to some Outaouais scenery, with Atlantis!

Love seeing Canadian Rivs. Here’s my ‘25 Atlantis taking advantage of a Calgarian chinook.

That's so classy how the grip tape matches the paint color! But what's a chinook? I thought it was a salmon or a big helicopter with two main rotors.

Beautiful bike, Ted!

I was just looking at that Surly front rack and wondering if it would fit my Clem with only the upper eyelets on the fork. From your picture it looks like it would, right?

Bruce - I was just about to assume you'll definitely be fine but figured I'd have a look at a Clem fork. You know what they say about assuming. Anyway, glad I did. It seems I have an extra set of mid-blade braze ons on the Atlantis vs. the Clem. Or at least compared to the 2025 Clem fork on the RBW web site. I didn't quite understand what you were getting at at first, but this must be it.

I have my rack mounted to the axle braze ons and to my mid blades, which are about at the location I've circled on the Clem screen grab below. Based on the fitment of mine, it's tough to say what it would be like without the mid blade points. I think you'll be ok but you'll likely be maxing out fitment tolerances and not have too much wiggle room. I'll put in another pic of my set up from the side which will make it easier to estimate how the rack will fit without those mid blade mounting points.

Good luck!

Ps. this rack does way an absolute ton. It's rock solid for carrying around an absurdly heavy grinder-resistant lock, but yeah, not too sleek for sure.
I'm also still on moderated posts as far as I know. I'm posting this on Feb 10. and curious to see when it will go live.

Right on! Beautiful set up.
Did you import yours? I don't recognize your bike from the '25 sold at C&L (the only Canadian dealer to my knowledge)
And send some of that warmth my way if you can. I'm buried in snow.

Thanks for all the info, Ted! Yeah, my Clem (2017) is like the one you added—only the upper fork braze on, but no mid-fork. I should probably start another thread about why / adding braze ons.

I imagine there's a schematic for the Surly front rack somewhere so I can measure it and see. Or maybe I'll find it in a local store and give it a try.

Happy riding!

Lovely, Ted.  I'm in Georgetown, if you're ever down my way let me know and we'll ride our Riv's together (mine is a Roadini).
