9 Speed friction shifting, with clutch!

Apologies if this is old news, but I thought it might be of interest to the group!

Looks like microshift finally came out with a friction compatible shifter for their 9 speed advent shift system. I know there were folks looking to use the "new" clutch-type derailleurs, but keep with the friction and/or 9 speed setup they have, so this may be a solution to that...



Still no silver, and still trying to find a place to buy this dang thing, but looking forward to replacing the much bulkier trigger shifter with this.

I’ve been using shimano bar ends in friction mode with xt clutch deraillers for some years now. No interface problems. Is this offering something different?

That sounded passive aggressive but I meant it as an actual question.

It's offering indexing in thumb and bar-end shifters to match that derailer, and also friction. There was a question of whether other friction shifters would work with the geometry of this particular clutch mech*

*I'm not the OP, just trying to answer the question.
