Clem L front derailleur

I sold my Hillborne frame to switch to a Clem L and discovered that the front derailleur clamp is too small.  I have a 3x8 set up with a Deore rear derailleur.  What size clamp is needed for the front derailleur and does anyone have a suggestion of which I should get?

It's 31.8 on my recent-model 45cm L, but the first ones came with bigger tubes and I believe the 59cm still does. Which means maybe this will help, it's a Deore triple front I have kicking around here with a nifty removable 31.8 shim..you can use it as the bigger size if you need it. I'll kick it over to you for free, someone just sent me a thing that they refused shipping for so I'll pay it forward.

Thanks for the offer Joe, but I managed to figure it out and ended up with a new XTR that the guy at the shop gave me a deal on because it had been sitting around for so long.

You did not mention the size of your Clem L and as Joe mentioned the tube size may vary by bike size. My August, 2019 Clem L 52 also requires a 31.8.  I was interested to note that the seat tube is tapered, 31.8 at the bottom, approximately 28.6 at the top.
