Not mine, no relation, San Francisco Craigslist.

The numbers seem backwards and I think it's a Starck, Goodrich or Nobilette, not Waterford. I'm fairly certain this is an ex Riv staff bike, I seem to recall one with red rims but can't remember who owned it. Check out that full fancy JB paint detail!

I know it’s too big for you Joe... but you should buy it anyways.... and then sell it in about 6 months!

Right Karl, my classic "buy high, sell low" program I run as a favor to the list. Not this time, brother! 😂

Beautiful bike. If that was a 67cm I would be all over it. However I am old and slow now; but might look fast to pedestrians

The lister is apparently not a fan of current the Riv line-up. The slammed stem, sort cage D-A rear with a race pine cone and racing crankset is totally out of place on this fireroads designed bike. The price is about double what I predict it will end up going for. Pretty frame set though.

Interesting that you think the stem is "slammed."  To me, the handlebar is the same height as the saddle, which is basically what Grant preaches.  Further, the crankset isn't really  "racing" as it could be a Ritchey Logic compact, although he doesn't list the chainring sizes. I think it would be a nice bike to ride on trails, gravel or fire roads, although I'm a roadie and don't really ride off-road. But, I agree the price is a bit ambitious and agree that it should sell at about half of what he wants. Hmm, I wonder if he would sell just the frameset...

YMMV, Good Luck!

I have no clue what the value is, but I was hoping Joe would buy it so that I could get it for around $2k... someone buy this beaut!

The build and bar placement is standard "Mark Abele cyclocross racer". I can't remember who owned it, but I'm sure he put it together.

Yeah, I decided not to highlight the Grant shots in the ad, I mentioned it privately to someone. Kinda weird and unnecessary.

It amuses me when CL ads get all opinionated and editorial like this. As if the seller has only this one chance on the soapbox-and they're not going to waste it. :)

Nice bike.
