With a little reluctance I've decided to sell my Leo Roadini. It is a lovely bike, but it is proving to be a rough summer financially in my household, so I've decided to let it go. I take solace in the fact that my Appaloosa will handle just about all of my needs. I had a lot of fun building this Roadini up last fall, but since then I have ridden it less than 500 miles, and I've put much more on the Joe.
I built it up with a mix of new and used parts. The Velocity A23/105 wheelset is new with the build, as are the brake levers and calipers, Paul Racer Medium in the front and Shimano Ultegra level in back. This was what it took to clear the lovely Compass Barlow Pass tires (700x38). The bike rides so nicely with these tires! The Compass/Rene Herse Crankset has been around on a couple other builds, but it and the SKF bottom bracket are beautiful. The XT rear mech is the oldest part on the bike, but you wouldn't know it. The drive train performs flawlessly. The chain was new with the build. The Simplex Retrofriction shifters are the bees knees. 48cm wide Noodles. It is a great, light, go anywhere road bike. I am 6'1" with a 87pbh and it fits me perfectly.
Comes as shown in the attached photos except it does not include saddle, pedals, bell, bag and click fix front adapter which is on the bike in the last photo. I can send more photos on request.
I would love to find someone in the New York City metro area to hand this off to. With that said, I will ship at the buyers expense in addition to the sale price.
