Timeframe of Appaloosa Shifter Bosses

On the Appaloosa it's my understanding they were new in 2024. I vaguely recall someone commenting in an older post that they "came back", as in they maybe used to be on the Appaloosa? Though it may have been a different bike too.  So were there downtube shifter bosses on a year of Appaloosa before 2024?

Here's a photo of my Appaloosa from 2016.  It was the first run, and they were all completes.  It does not have down tube shifter bosses, but regular cable stops.  I do not recall ever seeing down tube shifter bosses on any Appaloosa.

The 2024(?) run in purple and Sergio green had  down tube shifter bosses. Can’t confirm any earlier than that though!

Maybe look at the Blue Lug build blog? They’re building them in chronological order usually.

Spencer told me when I was checking on last year's Platys that their frame builder had advised them that down tube shifter bosses are stronger than cable stops, so they are planning to release all their models with down tube shifter bosses going forward
