Does anyone in the community have a picture of a Rambouillet with Bosco's? I picked up the Eugene Orange Rambouillet with the shrunken stack, and I'm planning to put it together with a set of 650b's and an upright setup.

Thanks in advance,

Michael Allen

I'm thinking you want Albatross bars for this - not Bosco.  Or  maybe the Choco?

I haven't tried the setup you're describing, but I have a 60cm Ram with noodles, and a 59cm Clem with boscos.  The Ram has a very short top tube, even by Riv standards.  Meanwhile, the Clem has an extremely long top tube and was designed with Bosco bars in mind.  And even so, I had to use the longest Tallux stem I could get (130mm) before the boscos felt low enough and far enough away on the Clem.

They're a great bar, with lots of comfortable grip positions when set up well, but I think half of them would be useless on a Ram.

I very much agree with Keith. The only way a Bosco works on a Ram is if you bought one so big that the saddles rests on the toptube. It ain't gon happen.

I did just remember this, in case you're still bent on trying to imagine what it will look like.  This fellow put boscos on a quickbeam, right after the bars were released.

The Quickbeam is a contemporary-of and similar-to the Rambouillet, but it IS ever-so-slightly longer - no matter what the charts indicate!   Also noteworthy, now that I see this again, that his saddle actually does sit close to the top tube, almost like Joe described.

Hey, that's me!  I did have Bosco Bullmoose bars on my Quickbeam for about a year, and yes, it did feel very short, although the setback seatpost helped.  They later got switched out for Albatrosses and eventually, Avenir Circa handlebars.  The QB definitely has a comparatively short top tube; even with the less swept-back Alba's and Circas, I still ride an 130mm stem.  I'm still constantly fiddling with that bike but this is pretty close to the current setup:

Around the same time I took the Bosco's off the Quickbeam I put a pair of standard Aluminum Bosco's on my Surly LHT, which has a ~2cm longer top tube than my QB (62 vs. 60, both are 64cm frames), and that felt great with a stem in the 110-120mm range.  I rode that setup all over for almost two years, including touring from SF to LA.  Here it is:

However, I just came in from the garage, where I was working on that bike's latest transformation.  Being the fickle guy that I am, it's getting drops (shock! horror!), but only because I have a 59cm Clem frame also waiting in the garage to get built up as a (slightly more offroady) upright all-rounder, and the Trucker is morphing into more of a go-faster bike.

Funny - I never put it together that this was you, Jeremy.  Probably should have.  If you've been riding 64cm road bikes, that Clem is going to fit you like a dream, for what you're wanting to use it for!

Also, forgot to say to you, Michael:  "Congratulations on the new bike!"

Thanks for the advice. Would it change anything to know that I had the Bosco's on a 56 Atlantis and like them?

Jeremy, your pic of the Bosco's on the Qbeam (I think I remember you did a post on it) got me liking the looks of Bosco's, which I had dismissed as too Disney looking at first.
But now I think they look much better aesthaetically than Alba's which I rode for a while.
Plus they have more rise and sweep back, which I need for an upright ride.
I am thinking of trying another upright cockpit on the Sam again and want to try Bosco's.

I found this picture of a Rambouillet with what looks like an albastache.
