Pics are up.  The white decals look so much better than the gold, imo.

Beautiful bike.

It's an OK green, but I don't like it as well as the original green, or the orange for that matter.  It's all academic to me, since I got my Bleriot.  I'm glad that the new Sams are in stock and I hope RBW sells them all.  I read an old interview with Grant online today, and have a better appreciation for the economics of the business.  Cheers to all, Steve

Agree; this new green looks plain like the original Quickbeam or a
Coleman camp stove vs the old green which was metallic with gold
flecks, which I think looks great with the gold decals.

Yeah the original green is MUCH better. I prefer the old decals too.  I like the orange better than both greens.

Not to start THAT discussion again, but that 56 looks seriously over-tubed IMHO.
I'm glad my 60 Sam is singletubeorange.
I think the Utube is polarizing, and can't imagine why Riv wants to make it harder to sell bikes than it already seems to be these days.
Though, in truth, when your riding your Sam and having a ball color and tube-i-ness matters not a bit.

I'm fine with the 2 top tubes, the new color, and that it takes the
Silver brakes. It looks like a great country bike.

I like the new green, I think it's one of their best looking bikes.

I may buy the one for sidepull brakes

On the subject of green paint, you know what green is beautiful? The new SimpleOne green. I saw it in person a couple weeks ago when I was in WC. The photos online don't do it justice. It's really nice olive-y green, but doesn't look too "military".

Seeing it in person inspired some real bike lust, and that's significant, because I previously had no desire for a single-speed bike. Now I want one!

The new green look quite nice to me, but I'm partial to the orange -
very sweet (hopefully it will be offered again). Riv's size charts
tell me the 64cm will fit my 6'7" frame (99.5 pbh) but I'm getting
feedback from Riv that it may be a bit small and I should go with the
71 AHH. Any tall guys out there with opinions on the Sam?

This bike is very Sam Hillbornish:

Maybe the HS Riv frame is a bike taxi?

+1 for me too.  I may get one just because it has sidepulls and fits fat tires.  I would put Albatross bars on it, rack it and have a blast!

I enjoy my SO and recommend it highly. A Sam with side/center pulls
would be very groovy. I love the ease of setup on that type of brake.

Doggone it. I wasn't a big fan of the undertube, and was content that my size doesn't need it. Now I'm staring at the PDF at Rivbike of the green undertubed Sam...and I love it!

I'm not only glad that each shipment has new colors, but glad of THIS
color. I like metallic paint as well as the next guy, but am really
happy the Sam's not a metallic this time around. Color choice is very
subjective, and this is the Sam Hill color scheme that most speaks to
me.

Coming on the heels of how much I like the Slimey Simple Green, along
with the grey/kidney red and the grey/orange schemes from about a year
ago, I think Riv is picking them great!
