I expected to have to do a lot more work based on how my Clem arrived. Brakes were pretty much set out of the box. The only thing left is to check the limit screws. I’ll put a B67 or Flyer on it tomorrow and do the final adjustments.
Did my first ride today- 7 miles in windy (15mph) weather. Impressions:On Nov 6, 2024, at 4:03 PM, Feldspar Palimpsest <michaelj...@gmail.com> wrote:

Congrats on your Platy; I had a Clem at one time, too, and I find the Platy to be just as you say. Lively. I rode mine in this mild Michigan weather for a pleasant 20 miles today. You are going to LOVE this bike. My 50 (pictured) has Silver shifters that I love and Gravel King tires (also love). I hope we can do a Michigan ride next year and that you’ll bring your new Platypus!Leah
