Not a Rivendell, but big!, like some Rivendells. Wanted to share here because, as they say here in Utah, This Is The Place🙂. 

I’ve always hoped a 71 Homer would show up, but this will do for now. Custom Co-Motion 70cm c-c with a 64 c-c top tube. It’s MASSIVE! A little too big, but to experience that sizing up we always discuss here is profound. I’m out here working on the family farm for my vacation and had been eyeing this thing on the eBay of the local bicycle recyclery and made a very low offer in hopes of being cleanly denied, but they took it with the knowledge that they’d be getting it back in 15 years or so, free and clear. Haven’t had the chance to take it on anything but a test ride around the shop, still need to rope a local pal into to transporting it up to the Wasatch back, but it’s my new summer vacation steed to compliment my Surly Ogre “Mountain Bike” until I can make the big move back to the mountains with some Rivendells…

Holy smokes that’s a lotta bike. It looks like one of Bill Walton’s old rides (look for Dead stickers on the dt). I stayed in aptly named Eden Utah skiing this past winter.  Man, just fell in love with that place.

That is huge! There's more frame above the wheel tops than on my 26" wheel (24 3/4" tall wheels) Riv road custom! I hope it rides as nicely.
