Will probably only work on a small-front-wheel bicycle. OTOH, you can just use a Wald Newsboy.

I wish I had a Mark's Rack or an M12 on all my bikes, but I don't... I do own a few of those cheapie aluminum mini-racks, though... and this idea (while perhaps not suitable for all bikes as a front loader) does give me a few ideas for a DIY "dork-aleur" to share the load with these types of racks... Thanks, Patrick.

If I had more initiative, I'd try something similar on the cheap Italian folder I have.

Post photos if and when you do this.

That is awesome, thanks for digging it up, Patrick. I'd actually seen
that on the Xootr site and thought it could work, but glad somebody
went ahead and did it!!! I'm tempted to add one to my minivelo (still
the BEST commute vehicle I've ever had!), but am still working on
cobbling up a frame-rigid front carrier a la Moulton for it. Which is
possibly just as dorky.

p.s. that could so totally work on my rig - just replace the lower
headset clamp with a stem:

That's a great bike, and the stem too!
