Hobo bar bag: want one!

I know this is a rather taboo topic here but for the sake of sharing
information: Frost River still has the pattern for the Hobo bar bag.
One person begging for a reproduction will most likely not be enough
to justify a revival of the bag. Just sayin'.

For now, I'll take my chances here for a real, previously-loved,
genuine Baggins Hobo.

See that is a not bid and never buy anything from that person again situation. Trying to rip people off with shipping is just a scum bag thing to do. I have almost 300 ebay transactions and can tell you that priority shipping, even coast to coast on that bag is 7 bucks max. What a POS.

On the other hand, I notice it is called a Baggins Banana bag. Maybe its not the one he is looking for.

Not a Hobo, not a Banana..it's a Candy Bar bag. I have one and like it, but it isn't worth much more than the shipping price. Bid away if you care to pay double for it.

It is a nice bag though. I like the Candy Bar Bags a lot. If the seller ever pulls his head out and adjusts the shipping cost, someone should pick it up.

Looks like shipping has been reduced on the Candy Bar bag, at least in the comments section.
As I mentioned, CB bags are a good size for carrying incidentals. Basically all I need can be carried in one (P&S camera, ID/CC/cash, windbreaker, food).

Hobos are nice as well. They can also be mounted on the seat which is kind of cool. I have one but don't use it a whole lot.

I have one of each.  The candy bar bag is handy for small stuff, as David says, and I always take it to use on rental bikes as it fits everything.  The hobo has a lot more capacity, good for jackets, food, tools, etc, especially with the 2 outside pockets.  It can go on either h'bars or Brooks saddle loops.

Interesting: I ended up several years ago in trade with a Candybar-like bag made by a listmember (forget if it was this or the Bob list) that is about 15% bigger than the CB bag but otherwise built on exactly the same pattern, down to the branch in place of dowel. A very useful bag that has been mounted on bars, on racks, and most often on saddles and is big enough to carry the extended off-road kit for the Fargo including two pairs of tubes for the Kojak and the Big Apple wheelset. 

I can't say that I am a huge fan of bar bags, having tried many including a couple of customs, but this Candybar-type design is a keeper.
