Decided to sell this as a complete build. 65cm ctt with a 57cm tt. The frame was built with a combination of Reynolds 853 & True Temper OX PLAT. The steel fork is a recent custom order from Ellis Cycles. The matching carbon fork is a True Temper Alpha Q. The carbon fork will need to have the aluminum insert that holds the star nut re-epoxied (not a hard job) and has a bit of paint removed from under the fork where the tire hits (see photo). Both forks are cut to allow a nice amount of bar height. The photo shows the clearance at the rear (the front fork has plenty more room). The tire measures 31mm on the Mavics. I think a true 33 might be the max safe size (I mentioned a 35 clearing in the previous post but please ignore that). There are a few very light paint scuffs on the top tube but nothing noticeable with a complete build. The saddle height in the photo is 81cm for reference. Saddle and bottle cages not included. Happy to answer any questions.

$1,500 plus shipping to the lower 48

Build list with some notes...

Cockpit: 46cm Nitto Noodles, 10cm Nitto UI-81 stem, Nitto steel & Blue Lug brass spacers, red Nitto bar ends, chubby bobcat cap

Drivetrain/Shifting: Campagnolo Centaur 10 Speed shifters, Campangnolo Chorus Compact front derailleur, Campagnolo Centaur long cage rear derailleur, Clipper 46/34 175 crankset, MKS Lambda pedals, Dura Ace 10 speed chain

Wheels/Tires: Mavic Open Pro, Campagnolo Hubs, 12/26 cassette, Challenge Strada Bianca 700x33 tires

Brakes: Dia Compe BRS-101

Seatpost: Nitto S65

* The carbon fork only clears a 28 and needs a short reach caliper. The bike was built for short reach but the rear brake bridge was put in a nice spot and allows the use of mid reach calipers for more tire clearance with 700c wheels.

* The steel fork is built for mid reach calipers. The heart stickers are my touch and easily removable if that's not your thing.

Thanks! Happy to answer any questions!

Interesting.

I sold this to Rollum last spring on behalf a a good friend of mine. It was sold with the Campagnolo Chorus/Centaur drivetrain and a carbon fork. It sold for a bargain price of $625.  You can see the listing on this group here https://groups.google.com/g/internet-bob/c/x14jClVGxpw/m/U_SL0aKBDQAJ

Since then he's fitted it with a nice steel fork and changed the tires and a few other bits. It's a nice bike.

FWIW, a clarification -- I'm not saying that this bike is not worth $1500 - it absolutely is. That new fork, bars, brake calipers, etc. were not inexpensive alterations. My post was more a comment on the tendency some of us  (very much including me!) have to get a bike, plow $$ into changes, and then decide to move on.

The changes Rollum has made make this great bike better with ability to fit tires up to 33 compared to the 28 max it could take prior. I'd imagine it rides that much better with the Ellis Cycles steel fork, too. He's done the work to make this even better for the Bob/Riv rider. Again, it's a very nice bike and whoever ends up with it will have all of the sorting done!   :)

This is way to big for me but I want to point out that heart stickers are a lovely touch. Approved
