A new Blug is up, with pics of an unpainted New Bike. Near the bottom there's an outtake from the '94 Bridgestone catalogue shoot with Robert and the lovely Kim. It's in color! It kinda shocked me to see it that way, kinda like when you see behind-the-scenes color shots from Casablanca, and you think, "I thought those people were in black and white!"

I'll definitely be at the Seattle ride/talk. Hopefully on my new (to me) Rambouillet! Anyone else going?

Does anyone have one of those wool SS tees? They look squareish rather than tallish which is too bad for me as I am tall and rather long torso-d. Too bad because I really want one.

I'll definitely be there. Green Sam with the head tube and lug windows painted cream. Any idea what time the festivities start?

I'll be there on my copper Hilsen.  I'm hoping we will get enough folks to completely flood the (rather small) Free Range space!  It will be bike month, after all.  Hopefully we will have all the Riv faithful, as well as anyone just wanting to meet up and hear from someone who is willing to cross the grain of the norm in the biking world.  I do think a BSNYC/Grant combined tour would be perfect, as both are fairly aligned, and when else will both have books coming out within months of each other?  Envious of our New York friends!

Must not have been paying close enough attention to the earlier pictures of the new bike.  I did not realize how long its chain stays are.  That bike will have a real stable, comfortable ride.

Prototype of the expensive riding jacket looks good.

It's like a Rivendell chopper. With a suicide shifter! I like it.

I'd be at the Seattle signing but its on a workday.......the Portland
one is on a Saturday but that's 130 miles from home......not sure the
gearing on my SimpleOne is high enough.

I work a few blocks from FreeRange so it won't be an issue for me. Is
your QB the one with the loafer I see parked outside PCC from time to
time?

I'm hoping to make it to the Fairhope, AL session. But which bike to bring?

Did some recon at Free Range Cycles in Seattle today. Grant gets there around 5 o'clock on the 11th, talks a bit and then we all go for a ride.

They've got an orange Sam, by the way, that is oh so sweet. I accidentally bought a shorter Technomic and some new bar tape.

I'll be there. Orange Ram.

Based on the sign-up sheet I saw at Free Range on Sat there could be
30ppl there. We may need to take it al fresco or to Brouwers Cafe
across the street.

I ran into you looking at Technomics. I had just got back from a ride to the beach with a guy that works there.

Unless you already installed it you could get one of these: http://store.biketouringnews.com/product_images/y/749/stem_nitto_mt10_80__37383_zoom.jpg

Ultimate tall and short stem.
