NYC Bike Shop Recs?

Hey all,

I am looking for a bike shop in NYC (preferably Manhattan but close Brooklyn also works) to do a handlebar swap and tuneup on my Homer. Anyone have any faves they would recommend?

My go to BoB-ish shop in NYC used to be 718 cycles but they permanently closed several years ago.

I would also recommend B's Bikes and Bike Plant, both in (close-ish) brooklyn. The latter has a repair fund you can donate to, which I appreciated.

I can second the Bike Plant recommendation! Great shop. Only have had and heard of good experiences there.

Harvest is excellent too. They kinda have their own niche in 90s resto-mods but they're very cool and capable people. I have had them fix/mod a couple of old frames and they did good work.

The other BK recs I usually give are Bicycle Roots and Ride Brooklyn.

I'm a big fan of 2 seas but its a little out of the way in eastern Williamsburg.

Two Seas rules! And is very close to the Williamsburg Bridge.
