45mm PURPLE Gravelkings - just could not resist.

Also installed wingnuts instead of axle nuts. These have been in the stash for 10+ years - from VO.

Looks great! Before going a big ride I would test the wing nuts to see if they can handle horizontal dropouts on a single speed. I like to start from stopped and put my entire weight on one pedal with as much force as I can, coast, then put a lot of force again.

Purple on purple!

Leah, I'm not sure what you had lined up for the Charlie but the smooth Gravel Kings in 700x38, perfectly sized for the Charlie, do (or have) come in purple and dark blue I believe. I wouldn't want to compete with the anodizing too much but dark blue/purple feels deep enough in color for it to work

Ryan, Leah’s purple Platy is 650b, and the colored Gravelkings seem to only come in 700c
