The very pleasant surprise from a very pleasant hand off with Barbara was learning that the very thorough description of her bike was penned by none other than Dave S formerly of Rivendell Bicycle Works.  Dave now works in the Neuroscience Department at UC Berkeley and Barbara was delighted to have hired him, for many more reasons than his Rivendell expertise.  I hope he gets a kick out of it when Barbara tells him I bought it.  

Rumor has it that there may be a 61cm Romulus coming available in the near future as well.  I will probably not snatch that one up, although I do have a tall friend who wants me to scope out bikes for him....
