Susie green color discrepancy

Saw Blue Lug's most recent Instagram story with what looks like some pictures of the new Susies in both colors. The green looks substantially different than the image on Riv's website. Makes me wish I'd ordered an orange...

The periwinkle Sams look a little different on build than the initial color sample we saw in the weekly email too. That said, I love the darker green on the Susie, but that orange is spicy.

I don't think that 'against a drab white wall' shot is going to be indicative of how Sergio Green will look outside while riding.

Maybe it is just a white balance issue. They just look so starkly different.

I have a sergio green platypus and the color is much more like the riv pics than the blue lug image — the tan sidewalls on the wtb tires looks off as well.

I'm curious about the DT shifter bosses.  Different on the Blue Lug vs the Riv photos.

Maybe I missed something in one of Will's emails?  Either way, beautiful frames.

Good catch. Not a lot of other sources for photos yet, but this Instagram post seems to have the ones from Riv's site.

Confirmation that it has shifter bosses, not housing stops like on Riv's website. Also, confirmation of the color matching Riv's website better than the Blue Lug photos.

Glad the color is what you like, and that's neat about the shifter bosses.  I used my first-batch susie as a vehicle to try rapid-rise-era deraileurs, and they don't have built-in barrel adjusters, so I used these doohickeys.  (I mostly use friction so it probably doesn't matter, but I like to have the fine tune option in case I change something.)  The barrel-adjuster covers you can get for the shifter bosses are much cleaner and higher-end looking.

That color looks a whole lot like the old Pea Sage Green, which is what my Romulus is painted with.
