SE Michigan Riv Ride and Campout

Hey Y'all,

I'll be hosting a Riv ride and Campout In Northern Oakland County October 18th & 19th. I've reserved 3 "rustic" camp sites at Addison Oaks County Park. Space is limited so please let me know if you plan to camp by September 1st. If not, come for the day ride on the 19th. We will roll out from Addison Oaks at 11:00am. I've planned a route that will take us over 40 miles of some of the most beautiful dirt roads Oakland County has to offer. you can expect a casual pace through tree lined roads with rolling hills, farm land and most importantly minimal traffic. I have a stop planned midway at Blakes Backyard for a bite to eat and refreshments.

If I get the schedule, we are driving to the park and camping on the night of the 18th, then riding on the 19th and returning home.  If that's right, I'll plan to be there.

Just to clarify, I reserved the Campsites for the 18th and 19th so you can camp out after the ride if you choose. Friday check in at 3:00pm/ Check out by 11:00am Sunday morning.

Rode some of the roads around Bald Mountain and Addison Oaks this afternoon. 

They just came out and sprayed sections of dirt roads with dust suppressant. Quite soupy in parts. 

Looking forward to tomorrow -- looks like it will be a nice day to ride.
