After much back and forth, I finally decide to take advantage of an
upcoming trip to the US to pick up an Alba set up to try on my Sam.

Problem is, Riv (and apparently Nitto) is out of them. OTOH the Nitto
North Road is available lots of places is Cromo, which can be used
with bar end shifters.

So, should I get the North Roads or put the idea on hold and wait for
"the real Albas"? Even better, any used Alba bars out there looking
for a home?

The soma Oxford is a pretty good alternative as well. Bar end compatible, alloy and cheaper to boot. I have them on one of my bikes and they are comfortable and do the job great.

Oxfords look nice.
What stem length works with them?
I use an 8 cm Technomic on the Noodles they would be replacing.

Thanks,
Jay
