Shweet!

I have flat woodies on my Saluki—how do you like those compound curve fenders?

Very nice...he wood fenders really bring out the classic character of the Hilson.

GReat build David! I need to try those pedals - they look like they would be a good match for my size 14 feet!

Colors look super!

Did the Mark's rack lose a set of tabs?  Or is that an M-18?

Awesome job matching the Woody's fenders to the chainstay wrap job!

That is one gorgeous bike, David. But tell me, how could you stand to wait to build it up?!?! I'm sure there were good reasons, it's just that I'm waaaay to impatient to delay gratification for that long. I'm sure it will be well worth the wait. I know how much I love my Hilsen. Enjoy!!!

Really nice photography.  How did you mount the headlight?  Also, have you had an opportunity to test the lights and if so, what do you think of them?  I'm just about to pull the trigger on the Saferide dynamo for front and rear.

They are nothing short of fully functional works of art. After ogling Woody's website for a long time, I was still hesitant on trying them out as I really need working fenders on my bikes. While I was waiting on other parts to build up the Homer, my spouse surprised me with this set of fenders, so the decision to try them was made for me. I have no regrets. I have already rode them in very rainy conditions and they protect me and the bike just as well as the metal fenders on my other bikes. I will, at some point be adding a mud flap.

With great difficulty. Financial reasons made me take the slow route of buying parts a few at a time. As I bought them, I put them in a box and checked them off my list. This Christmas, the spouse surprised me with the final few parts, so I was able to finally build away!

Mounted the headlight on the M-18 rack using a piece of an old chain ring as a bracket. I love these lights. They have all the best traits of the IQ Cyo I have on the other bikes in the family with the added bonus of a much wider beam. The build quality seems more sturdy as well. The rear light is highly visible from rear and sides.
