question re Brooks leather bar tape

So I splurged and bought this fancy, pricey bar tape. I'm embarrassed to admit what I paid for it, but now I've got it. Does anyone have any experience with it? That is, do I install it the same way I install Newbaum's, or is there some special method for this stuff?

Yes is the short answer but I always tend to pull leather a little tighter. I personally like leather tape. It'll outlast me.

I felt the same way when I bought Brooks tape.  I even felt silly buying it on a markdown.  But it lasts and lasts and still looks and feels great 15 years later.
