Have Shimano ever made a 12-34 9s cassette? I know they have a 12-36 9s cassette in the HG-400 series, as I have that on a couple of bikes, but I've never come across a 12-34, only 11-34.

A 9sp 12-34 of what specific cogs ?
There was an XTR version long ago with cogs of 12-14-16-18-20-23-26-30-34.
Otherwise no, no one makes a stock 12-34 9sp. and it's a darn shame. Little variety available.
Sunrace makes an 8sp 12-14-16-18-21-24-28-34. The low end Sunrace are not riveted but screwed together with a torx pin. So if you're creative you can combine cassette cogs from different cassettes to get the combo you want. I believe one can still buy individual cogs from Aliexpress also.

Hey Garth,

Bingo on the XTR. This is a backup wheelset I'm trying to match with my main M950 XTR hubbed wheelset. I believe Shimano also made a similar gear range for XT 9 speeds.
