New Year morning ride

Where I am in New Jersey we don't have high mountains and unspoiled
rivers. But it was a relatively balmy 1/1 morning and I set out on my
1 year old Hillborne to do a one to two hour variation of one of the
usual rides from my home. I thought to bring a camera and here are
the results. Best wishes to all.

I like the unusual color your Hillborne is done in. Is that Atlantis blue?

Yes it is painted up like an Atlantis. Unlike some here, I wasn't
thrilled about the orange it came in at the time and this was a color
I loved and was an inexpensive alternative.

But what Montclair may lack in pure vertical climb it more than makes
up for with its cool restaurants, music/theatre venues, celebrities
and Complete Streets / cool bike vibe... and Norm Rosenbloom... Let's
get together and ride... I've got a cool Montclair loop up through the
Caldwells, mostly off-road.

Hey Bobby,
Montclair misses you..let's do that ride. BTW, what's the status of
RivRideEast2? Myself and I'm sure, others are looking forward to it.
The first was a great time and I've enjoyed reading posts here by some
of the people I met there. I also have gotten the itch to do a S24O
when the weather turns again. The sale was perfectly timed and I
picked up a Platrack and sleeping bag. Any other eastsiders have some
good ideas of where to ride and camp?
