WTT: 58cm Hunqapillar, Frame & Fork for 54cm Hunqapillar Frame and Fork

I got this beautiful 58cm Hunq frame and fork from fellow list member Rene. This frame had a custom, low trail fork made specifically for it and then the whole frame was repainted in beautiful metallic silver by D&D Cycles, who do a lot of paint work for Rivendell. The low trail fork gives this bike excellent front load and low speed handling. I have ridden this on road and it wonderful and off road where is is truly fantastic.

The problem, for me, is that it is just too big for me to use as an offroad bike. There is not enough standover clearance for me at 6'1", 32 inch inseam 87cm PBH. If I were to use this bike primarily for road riding, it would fit great. I already have an AHH that fills that role, so in this case, I need to size down.

I am looking for a 54cm Hunq frame and fork that is in good/excellent shape and looking to do an even trade. Just to clarify, even means that you pay for shipping and packing to send me your frame and I will do the same to send you mine. Local swaps are welcome as well.

Would you be interested in a 58cm Atlantis? It's a fair bit smaller than the 58 Hunq is. Check the Riv geometry charts. I've been wanting to trade my 58cm Atlantis for a 61cm Atlantis, but thought this weekend how a 58 Hunq would be just as good for sizing up for me.

I'm the second owner. It arrived with the typical Atlantis 'chain suck' paint scratching on the drive-side chain stay. There are a few other scratches on the frame, but no dents, dings, bends etc. The frame is in great shape, no rust, inside treated with frame saver again last year. 

I've been using a longer bolt with a lock nut on the back when mounting fenders because the right lower fork eyelette threads aren't great. Riv suggested tapping it for the next bolt size, but this has worked perfectly for years so why mess with it.

Also the Atlantis' have had slightly varied geometry over the years. This frame can fit 2.25" knobby Thunder Burt tires, so it makes for a great mountain bike as well. The photos should be high res and give you a very accurate sense of the state of the frame. I'd say it's around an 8/10 cosmetically personally. Have a look and thanks for considering.
