$88 gets you a shifter derailleur and cassette.  Paired with the right crank and you're capable of everything but loaded touring and pedaling downhill.

I've used Microshift twice now to convert flat bar hybrids to drop bar road style. A lot of value for the price and they work well.

  I wouldn't assume that Lefebeaver. With a regular pull RD, yes, but their clutch RD designs are a proprietary(secret) cable pull. The only way to know is to buy one and try it.
