Poking around Riv site and saw they have the new colored Sams for pre-
sale for an incredible deal at $1050.00! Damn wish it wasnt time to
pay for my kid's summer camp or I would snap that up right now.

The Sam situation is confusing for me. Should I assume that the pre-sale bleu's are 56 and 60 only?

That is what I assume,  since the indicated only the two tt ones have the new color.  Most likely because those are Taiwan frames so they can eat some of the cost of the fancy paint job.

Hmm..I think I was wrong. The Pre-Sale page lets you order four sizes: 48/52/56/60. This could present a problem for my credit card if I can order that gorgeous color in my size..

I doubt it..no small Rivendells come with two tts. I presume the 48/52 remains uno-tubed.

Yeah I only ask because all the ones I have seen pictured and grants blug post mentions the the new color in relation to the two tt model.   I guess one of us should just ring them up tomorrow,  sounds like a good excuse to not work for a few minutes,  Haha.

Ok, just got off the phone with Mark over at Riv HQ who I had a awesome talk with about bike fitting that was pretty illuminating. Long story short though they will have the new Bleu color in stock in all sizes even though as he said they have trouble moving the smaller ones but dealers and whatnot requested it so get they got in done through the whole range of sizes, except for the 64. That new bleu and the cream accents are a great addition to a killer bike, almost thinking the unthinkable to sell my beautiful Homer setup to fund a new Hillborne. Hmmmmmm
