This is the first bike I've ever assembled, and my first Rivendell. I purchased the frame in Walnut Creek after taking some test rides. It has a mix of new and used parts, some of which I already had. There are a few things I may upgrade eventually (like the black Avid FR5 levers, but they work great and they were $15, logos removed with acetone). But the bike rides amazing. Pretty sold on the long chainstays and 72 HT angle. I plan on keeping it forever.

Congrats! That looks like a keeper. Enjoy the canals for me. I haven't had a chance to be back for a few months now.
