Ian,
I'm glad you liked the photos! I'm sure there will be many more opportunities for great photos of our rides to come! We would love to visit Alberta with the bikes in our Sprinter van when travel is again permitted! Well wishes to you!
Joyce,
Thank you for the compliment on my Platy! Orange is my favorite color (I even have an orange car!) so when I was planning on how to setup my Riv I had to tastefully throw some in. Looking forward to seeing your PlatyPose photo! Always nice to see #Rivsisters on a post! Makes me feel so happy and included in such a cool and inspiring crew of ladies!
Mitch,
We moved to San Luis Obispo to start a camper vehicle conversion business. We wanted to help the average person to get out in a vehicle and explore nature! We built out a 2006 Sprinter Van last year and it was a challenging and rewarding experience and through doing that we actually saw a hole in the camper conversion market. All the outfits we looked up when doing research for this business venture were those who only work on new vehicles and who were charging around $100,000 for a vehicle, which revealed to us that there really was a need to have a more community based business to help people who need more flexibility (have a set budget or only require certain amenities for example). We even made provisions for both of our Rivendells to fit under the bed in our personal van, gotta have the babes safe inside while traveling! It is cool to see that there are other Riv fans here in SLO, we feel so lucky to be here, it is a gorgeous place to ride a Riv.
Jason,
They really are quite a quirky pair! Glad you enjoyed seeing them! Like I mentioned above, I think my layers were more to combat wind than temperature, but I am excited for all of us for some cooler autumn breezes! Fall is my favorite season and I crochet so I always look forward to layering up with handmade goods! Guess that is why I wound up in the beanie, it has been many months since I've been able to wear it comfortably, although it didn't last long on the ride! Sending more well wishes to you in Canada!
