This morning on my way I to work, I came across 3 women with bikes fully loaded crossing the Mississippi River on the Marshall Avenue Bridge.  They're on a cross-country tour from Seattle to NYC, their home port.  Didn't get their names, but one was on a blue LHT.  Made my heart sing.  If you come across 'em, tell them the woman on the Mississippi bridge in the Twin Cities says "You still rock!"

Yesterday, saw 5 loaded touring bikes downtown Minneapolis.  Per the leader, the others were teenagers crossing the country.  It's getting to be that time when there are a lot of folks coming through the Twin Cities on tour.  (They were mostly steel bikes, and most everyone was loaded only on the rear.)
