Reading the other post on racks made me wonder... will my Saris freedom fit the upcoming Susie? Or do I need some extra parts?

Ok, two quick searches answered my own question. Smallest Susie has a 53” wheelbase, the basic Saris Freedom supports up to 48”, so I guess I need to order the long wb bar.

I measured the medium demo Susie as having a 49.2" wheelbase.

Interesting, that means my current rack config might actually work. I misread the geometry chart, I used the 53 chainstay number which isn't correct, I need wheelbase. 

If I add chainstay and front-center, do I roughly get wheelbase?

Does anyone have details on the wheelbase number for a 50 Susie?

A fellow RBW user sent me the wheelbase measurement at 48.5" (thanks!), so I think I can make the existing Saris bar work... we'll see.


Hope that's helpful for others that were wondering about them.
